Sam obtained a Bachelor of Laws from Griffith University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law. After working as a law clerk and paralegal in criminal and family law, she was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2016.
Although Sam has primarily focused on criminal defence work since her admission, she has significant experience handling domestic violence and traffic matters, as well as regulatory proceedings involving healthcare professionals. As a result, she has gained significant experience representing clients in appeals, trials, sentence proceedings, bail applications, domestic violence hearings, and disciplinary proceedings throughout Queensland.
In 2021, Sam was recognised as a Queensland ‘Criminal Law Rising Star’ by Doyle’s Guide.
