Bella is our dedicated and driven law clerk who is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Griffith University. She is also a qualified Queensland Justice of the Peace, reflecting her ongoing commitment to developing her legal knowledge and skills.
Bella brings warmth, positivity and compassion to her role, supported by strong interpersonal skills, and an approachable nature. She is committed to building positive relationships with clients and colleagues and strives to maintain her high professional standards. Bella takes great pride in her meticulous attention to detail, delving deeply into legal research to ensure accuracy and that no important detail is overlooked.
With a particular interest in criminal law, Bella is actively involved in a range of criminal matters. Her responsibilities include legal research, preparation of court documents, briefing and instructing counsel, and working closely with solicitors and barristers throughout court proceedings. She also regularly appears in matters before the Magistrates, District and Supreme Courts. Bella understands the challenges and uncertainty that can arise when facing any type of criminal or personal legal matter and is committed to ensuring clients feel supported throughout the process.
Upon completion of her studies, Bella aspires to continue building her career in criminal defence, advocating for and supporting individuals facing criminal proceedings and working to achieve the best possible outcome.
Outside of the law, Bella enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling and exploring new places. She is also an animal lover and enjoys spending time with her four dachshunds. Bella values her relationships and maintaining a balance between her professional and personal life.
